This educational campaign at Cultural Centres and Institutes of Secondary and High schools consists on lectures, round tables and showing documentaries. Its purpose is to educate young people about the need to protect our seas, oceans and the species that live in them.

The lectures are given by Jorge Keller, head of Deep Blue-Video and author of the images of the documentaries, and Juan Diego M. Alcaraz, director of www.buceo-virtual.com, as presenter and moderator of the debates.

“We try, -says Jorge Keller-, to bringing the public the wonders and immensity of the underwater world, how much more we have to learn and discover; and also to warn people about the pressure of human being and our role in the steady and alarming deterioration of the marine environment, its surroundings and the devastation of their species.”

“Entre Tiburones” (“Among Sharks”), “Banua Wuhu, el Volcán Sumergido” (“Banua Wuhu, the submerged volcano”), “Anémonas y sus Inquilinos” (“Anemones and their Tenants”) and “Caminantes de Lembeh” (“Lembeh Walkers”) are the titles of the documentaries produced by Deep Blue-Video, filmed by Jorge Keller and Buceo Virtual is in charge of the scripts. The themes, which arouse the interest of young people, are the basis for the conferences and subsequent symposia or round tables.
